These are the terms you agree to when you use DoTheBeauty. We kept them readable on purpose. If something is unclear, email us at legal@dothebeauty.com and we will explain it.
1. What this service is
DoTheBeauty is a platform for beauty and hair professionals. It includes a website builder, online booking system, client management, and billing tools. When you sign up, you get access to these tools through a monthly subscription.
2. Your account
You need an account to use DoTheBeauty. When you sign up, you agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your country to enter into agreements).
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@dothebeauty.com.
3. Free trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. A credit card is required via Stripe to start the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial period.
4. Billing and payments
All plans are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our pricing page and are in euros.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds on partial months.
- If your payment fails, we will retry and notify you. After repeated failures, we may suspend your account.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Their terms apply to the payment transaction.
5. Transaction fees
If you accept card payments from your clients through the built-in booking system, the following transaction fees apply on top of your subscription:
- Starter plan: 2% per transaction
- Growth plan: 1% per transaction
- Pro plan: 0.5% per transaction
These are DoTheBeauty fees. Stripe also charges its own processing fees separately. Transaction fees are deducted automatically.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use DoTheBeauty for its intended purpose: running a beauty, hair, or wellness business. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal activity.
- Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Your data and content
You own your data. This includes your salon content, client information, booking history, and any files you upload.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your client lists. We do not use your content for advertising.
You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your data solely to provide the service. This license ends when you delete your account.

8. AI-generated content
DoTheBeauty uses AI to generate website content, service descriptions, and other text. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it goes live on your website. We do our best to generate accurate and relevant content, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free.
9. Termination
Either party can terminate this agreement at any time.
If you cancel: Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. After that, your website goes offline. Your data is available for export for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days, we delete it.
If we terminate: We will give you reasonable notice (at least 14 days) unless termination is due to a violation of these terms. Your data will be available for export for 30 days.
10. Availability and uptime
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will do our best to notify you in advance of planned downtime.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims related to the service is limited to the total fees you paid to DoTheBeauty in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost data.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
